Even after she awoke, the fear and terror of her dream lingered. Fear, terror, and a hint of sadness that she almost wanted to keep. But she was thankful that the curtains hadn’t been fully closed, and that weak drops of sunlight filtered in through the crack, dispelling the last vestiges of the dream.
