Ah, I’m sorry, I skipped episode 4 ^-^;; I just watched them both today, actually. This took a little bit priority over Scrap Teacher, so I wrote up this episode summary first. It’s much more exciting =) Scrap Teacher makes me feel bouncy bouncy happy happy laugh. This…well, it either makes me feel very suspenseful, or on the verge of tears. Usually both, several times an episode. Huh.

Bloody Monday revolves around genius hacker Takagi Fujimura, aka Falcon, and his struggles against a terrorist organisation. It all started two years ago…a lady by the name of “Maya” purchases and spreads a virus across Russia. When Fujimura sees the videos of this event, he enters into a downwards spiral of this plot as he, his father, and his sister become more involved. The manga, if you don’t take it seriously, is a great read. The plot pulls you along, the art isn’t too jarring, and the characters aren’t that bad. There’s quite a bit of blood, so plus on that side too. People die. Another check. Good looking guy who’s also a pro archer? Double check. Oh, and the hacker kid. Sadly, the manga also seems to be very elusive. It’s being scanlated into English, and it’s up to chapter 8, but beyond that? Heck, not even the Chinese can find it past volume 3! A quick baidu for “bloody monday 漫画” inevitably deteriorates into blurbs with “三浦春马” in the title. As some of you may know, Bloody Monday is being adapted into a drama, which begins airing on October 11, 2008 (same day as Scrap Teacher!), starring Miura Haruma. Truthfully, I’ll be watching only to see how bad they butcher it…but, we’ll see!

Alright, I take that back *laugh*. My sister’s constantly gushing over Miura Haruma (and my friend commented on how good he was too, when I told her that there was a new drama with him in it), so perhaps I’m a bit more hopeful now! Who knows? It might be one of those good series turned just as good!
